Ten Cate Solair is the optimum blend for tent fabric. It is a mat tent fabric with a very firm grip and, thanks to its strong structure, can also be stretched tautly. This makes it highly suitable for applications such as patrol tents, awning fabric, tipi tents, tarpaulins, scouting tents, but also as projection fabric: photo fabric or beamer fabric.

What is so special about Ten Cate Solair tent fabric?

Ten Cate Solair is a so-called 'mixed fabric', made from a mix of cotton and polyester fibres. This version is a heavy fabric: 420 g/m2. The cotton component breathes and regulates moisture. The polyester part comes into its own by providing extra strength and durability. Ten Cate Solair is treated against mould and is naturally waterproof: a water column of 50 cm (where 17 cm is already sufficient for a patrol tent or tipi tent).
