ESVO is market leader in outdoor fabrics. We also have a wide range of tarpaulin sheets and covers. This tarpaulin sheet is considerably stronger than a standard tarp cover. It is made of heavy duty HDPE tape fabric, with 2-sided LDPE coating, and no less than 2% UV-stabilised(normally 0.05% to 1%). This waterproof tarpaulin therefore offer more than sufficient protection for your car, firewood, boat, garden furniture or engine to be covered. A tarpaulin of this weight class is in any case also suitable for covering the interior of a building.
This cover is therefore the inexpensive variant of our thick PVC tarpaulins ('truck tarpaulins') from our range, which are even more u.v.-stable and stronger.
Characteristics of this waterproof, heavy and strong tarpaulin sheet
- Material: heavy HDPE tape fabric, 240 gram/m², with 2-sided LDPE coating, 2% UV-stabilised (normally 0.05% to 1%).

- every 100 cm a brass fixing eye, inner diameter 18mm - Packaging: each cover is packed in a transparent PE bag with a neutral cover insert, in 4 languages and EAN code.

Outdoor applications and suspension possibilities of this thick, waterproof tarpaulin sheet
As a specialist we can inform you about the use of a tarp, awning, covering of terrace, pergola, garden furniture, porch, canopy, awning, containers, and so on.
As mentioned, this HDPE heavy duty and waterproof tarpaulin sheet is provided with brass grommets, or fixing eyes. These have an inner diameter of no less than 18mm and are hammered in at a distance of 1 meter. Using these eyelets and fasteners, such as our cable ties or reusable tarp tensioners, you can position your sheet in the best possible way.
The general use of a thick tarpaulin sheet made of heavy HDPE
There are many applications for a thick tarpaulin sheet. They are not only laid over objects to protect them from rain and/or dirt. We will be happy to advise you in order to find the right waterproof cover for your application and purpose. For example: often customers who already have a crush on an HDPE tarpaulin contact us. After all, the weight of the tarp can play a major role in the selection. It also comes into view when the ground can bear the weight. If, for example, a boat is made ready for the winter, it must be taken into account that the tarpaulin has to be spread out/opened widely.
