There is a very strong polyester mat in the middle, which is PVC-coated underneath and on top. This tarpaulin is manufactured in Europe and therefore cracks considerably less quickly than cheap PVC tarpaulins. One reason for this is the plasticisers. This grey PVC is also flame-retardant, according to the European fire standard EN 13501-1:2018. Furthermore, this cloth naturally complies with the highest environmental standards and requirements.

The bisonyl (or actually any PVC sail) can be glued with our soft PVC glue Sabaplast (click this link), which is also used by professional sailmakers. This makes stitching unnecessary.
